Bio Obit* | Mr. Jeremiah Toohey was a well known stone mason who lived at 289 Union street in Olean, Cattaraugus Co., New York. Mr. Toohey was born in the country of Tipperary, Ireland, July 23, 1842. He had lived in America about thirty years and came to Olean about fourteen years ago. During his residence here he has been a prominent citizen and had carried on a successful business of contracting and building. He was a member of St. Mary’s church.
