Bio Obit* | Mary McBarron McManus was a native of the county Fermanaugh, Ireland. She was married in early life and came to America with her husband, Patrick McManus, more than sixty years ago. It is nearly half a century since they came to Erie, and a few years later settle in Greene township, on a farm about six miles from Erie, where they are known and respected, and many today can recall to mind numerous pleasant hours spent under their hospitable roof, partakers of their genuine friendship and genial kindness. Mr. McManus died at an advanced age more than seven years ago, and his widow being an invalid came to Erie to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Morrison, of East Tenth street, where she patiently awaited her call, which came on 1 Feb 1890.
