Bio Obit* | Carolyn Moseley was born on November 17, 1928 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Ashley) Fred. As a child, she visited her grandparents at the Ashley farm in Winchester Center. She attended Beaver College in Pennsylvania. Carolyn married William Miller in 1953 and lived at the Ashley Road residence with her three children for 25 years. She was an active member of the Winchester Center Congregational Church and community. In 1978, she married John Moseley. They enjoyed 39 years of a loving relationship at their home on Laurel Way in Norfolk. Carolyn worked as the receptionist at the Torrington Company for several years. She enjoyed playing the piano, summer vacations to the Moseley property in Nova Scotia, needlework, reading and spending precious time with family and friends celebrating every holiday, birthday and special occasion.
