Biographical Notes

Bio Note*Born in the County Derry, Ireland, seventy-nine years ago. In 1829 he was married. His wife survives him. About 1834 Mr. McTamany located in Cambria County and worked on the Old Portage Railroad. He bought a tract of land at Plane No. 4 when the locality was a dense wilderness. There he raised a family of nine children.1
