Biographical Notes
|
Bio Obit* | Deceased was a native of Chester Co., Pennsylvania, but shortly after her marriage to Stephen McGeath, April 21, 1811, removed to Loudoun County, Virginia thence in December, 1822, to Wrightsville, Belmont Co.., Ohio in the vicinity of which both lived and died.
She united with the Regular Baptist Church at the age of 17 years and lived to more than three score years a pious, humble, devoted, exemplary Christian. Her council in the family circle and in the church, so good because permeated with the leaven of pure godliness are lost to surviving relatives and associates, but her example will live, and her influence remain an active principle among all who kew her virtues and appreciated her character.2 |
