Large Crowd of Omaha and South Omaha Attend the Funeral Services
The funeral of Harry E. Tagg, which was held from St. Martin's church at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, was one of the largest and most impressive in the history of South Omaha. Members of the South Omaha Live Stock exchange attended in a body, and a large delegation from Omaha, headed by Mayor James C. Dahlman, were also present at the services. The floral tributes were many and beautiful.
The Rev. A. G. White, rector of St. Martin's church, preached the funeral sermon, dwelling on the many good qualities which made Mr. Tagg popular among his friends and business associates. The choir furnished special music. Interment was at Laurel Hill cemetery.
The pall bearers were: A.L. Lott, C.E. Scarr, Frank Smith, Bert Blanchard, Guy Ellis and Bruce McCulloch. Honorary - James G. Martin, S.L. Deven, G.O. Ingwersen, W. McCreary, John F. Frederick, W. Stephen, T.E. Sanders and P.J. McGrath.
