Edward L. Fitzgerald

Edward L. Fitzgerald, 52, 1676 W 14th st., died Thursday morning in his late home, after an extended illness.

 He leaves two sons, Harry L., Boston, Mass., and John Edward, Erie; two daughters, Thelma and Rose Fitzgerald, Erie; two brothers, James S., Columbus, Ohio. and John E. Fitzgerald, Erie.

Hew was well known in Erie and was a kind and loving father.  He was born in Ireland [sic], Aug. 13, 1879, the son of Thomas Fitzgerald.  He was a devout member of St. Peter's Cathedral, where the final rights will be celebrated at 9 am, Monday. Prayer services at the house at 8:30 will precede the mass of requiem.  Friends are invited to call at any time at the late home, and to services.  Interment in the family log in Trinity cemetery.
