Plucky Woman Rolls Self in a Rug, Then Calls Doctor Herself

Mrs. W.B. Tagg, 3715 South Twenty-fifth street, was badly burned about the face, arms and back when an oil furnace exploded in her home about 10:30 this morning.  She will probably recover, however.

Mr. Tagg, who is vice president of the Live Stock exchange is somewhere in the northwestern part of the state with a stockmen's excursion.  He has been wired about the accident.

Mrs. Tagg was alone in the house at the time, and as she was doing some work in the basement of the house the furnace blew up and the flames caught her clothing.  With great presence of mind, Mrs. Tagg rushed upstairs and rolled herself in a rug, succeeding in putting out the blaze.  She then called Dr. F.O. Beck, who said her injuries are not likely to be fatal.  She is at home, under the care of a nurse.
