Bio Obit*Grace Grouse Kimbel was a Lorain County Probate deputy clerk. A native and lifelong resident of Elyria, Mrs. Kimbel (then Grace Grouse) began her 27-year tenure as deputy clerk in Lorain County Probate Court in May 1945 under Judge Horace H. Nye. She also served under Judges Malcolm Thomson and Harold S. Ewing before retiring in 1972 and was honored by Lorain County Bar Association on the occasion of her 25th anniversary with the court. Mrs. Kimbel was a 60-year member of First Congregational Church, Elyria.
A stepson, Stephen F. Kimbel of Alexandria, Ca., survives.4
