Bio Obit*Bernard O'Gorman was born in County Tyrone, Ireland. He came to this country in 1830, for ten years followed a sea-faring life and then engaged in business in New York. In 1847 he bought a farm on the outskirts of Port Jervis, where he lived until a few years ago, when he went to live with his son, the only survivor of a family of thirteen children.
