Biographical Notes

Bio ArticleSmith - Justice: At the Pro-Cathedral last night Rev. Father Dwyer united in marriage Miss Mary Justice, daughter of Captain Charles Justice, and Mr. Irwin Smith of this city. After the ceremony the bride and groom held a reception of their friends at the residence of the bride's parents on State street. Presents in great variety were made by the many warm friends of the young couple who embark upon the sea of matrimony under very favorable auspices. The bride was tastefully attired and looked exceedingly pretty, while the groom, a handsome, frank and affable young man, was equally admired.
At 9:30 the guests sat down to a splendid supper, when Mr and Mrs Smith had the pleasure of hearing many fine and well deserved compliments from the lips of their friends, among whom were several of the leading merchants and manufactures of the city. The happy pair left for Buffalo on the midnight train. Erie Morning Dispatch, 5 Dec 1884; Principal=Irwin J. Smith9
